Experience an extraordinary evening of visually striking dance that
touches the senses. Michigan’s leading contemporary dance
company performs five diverse pieces from their amazing repertory.
The concert features the exquisite multimedia work “Behavior
of Circles,” choreographed by DDC’s Barbara Selinger
and integrating paintings by Pati Scobey, original music by Andrew
Bishop, and stunning videography that moves and breathes with the
dancers. The gifted ensemble will also perform works by DDC’s
associate artistic director Kay Rediers, and dancer/choreographer
Anh Nguyen both admired for their strong musicality and refreshing
movement style.

The Field/Chicago is part of a national network of Field sites.
Based in New York, The Field offers programs that help independent
artists create new artwork, manage their careers, and develop long-range
strategies for sustaining a life in the arts. For the public, they
make the work of hundreds of artists accessible on an intimate basis
through the Field Trips performance series. Each year, The Field
serves over 1,500 artists in the disciplines of dance, theater,

Join Chicago dance artist Sabrina Cavins for an evening of discovery,
creativity, and spontaneity. For her first solo concert, Cavins
has prepared a moving journey from the known to the unknown. “As
I Go” will premiere three works, with qualities ranging from
tranquillity to lighthearted chaos.
