Same Planet Different World dance company is bringing
international guest artist Jodi Lomask to Chicago! Influenced by
Body Mind Centering Technique, Susan Klein Release Technique, Cunningham,
Classical Ballet, and Contact Improvisation, Lomask's class is meant
to increase physical awareness and control so that a performer can
more efficiently articulate any form of choreographic intent. Through
muscular toning, deep stretch, balance, momentum exploration, the
gaining and loss of balance, and movement as a conversation with
onself, Lomask inpires physical mastery. Partnering class must have
a 6-person minimum, so bring a friend!
