September 2-4, 2005
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8pm
Admission $15/$10 students/low-income
Off Inside My Head showcases the powerful vocals of Chicago-born
and-bred Nikki Patin. Her work reflects the perspective of alternative
existence inside America: what happens when you are a person of
color in this country, when you are abused, when you are overweight,
when you are an artist…when you are all those things at once?
Set against a backdrop of Nikki Patin's original artwork, Off Inside
My Head is the story of the journey from victim to survivor, from
young girl to warrior woman, from fate to destiny.
