ABOUT THE CURATOR

Angeline Gragasin is an independent, interdisciplinary performing artist based in Chicago, IL. She was born in Kansas City, MO, and grew up in Racine, WI. She received an AB in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities with a concentration in Theater and Performance Studies from The University of Chicago in 2007. She has trained extensively in clown, mask, mime, Commedia dell’Arte, and image- and object-based physical theatre techniques. Gragasin has also trained in classical voice since the age of six, and plays the piano, saxophone, washboard, and accordion. She has garnered numerous awards for her performance work.
